2015 NYCBBC Fundraising Event

We are pleased to announce our 1st fundraising event.
LOCATION: Alhambra Ballroom, 6th Flr,
2116 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd (7th Ave), NYC 10027
(Corner of West 126 St)
DATE:  Mon, June 15th, 2015 
TIME:   6:00 pm-10:00 pm 
COST:  $50 (Adults) & $25 (18 yrs old & under)
Change in Program:Host Cheryl Wills is unable to attend. However, we have King of NY Comedian, Actor & Radio Personality - TALENT - who will be hosting our event. So please vome out and support us and the kids of NYCBBC. Talent is sure to make us have a good time.

Please come out & support our organization to help keep our program up & running. Help us spread the word about the event. You already know how vital our program is to our families & the community. You can pay online by clicking on the Add to Cart button (or) call 917.853.5823 for other payment arrangements.
Payment is due by Fri, June 5th, 2015. Please list names of all attending.
The first 60 parents to purchase a ticket, your child will be allowed to attend the Fundraising Event for fee. Providing that they wear their NYC Bombsquad Basketball Classic uniform. However, your child will be seated in a designated area in the balcony and will be served pizza.
If you cannot attend please make at least a $25 tax deductable donation.

NYCBBC's Annual Academic Achievement Awards

Visits the NYCBBC in the park.
On Championship & Trophy day the NYCBBC holds its annual Academic Achievement Award present-ation to recognize the kids who have excelled academically over the school year. This achievement award was named in honor of the Director's (Skip) 2nd Grade teacher the "Susan Burstein Academic Achievement Award". Ms. Burstein personally presents the award to each kid every summer.

Skip Receives a Proclamation

District Leader Robert Jackson issues Proclamation.
On Championship & Trophy day District Leader Robert Jackson presented the Director Skip Branch with a Proclamation in recognition for his commitment to our youth.

Former NBA Player John Wallace

Visits the NYCBBC in the park.
On Championship & Trophy day we were honored to have the presence of former NBA superstar John Wallace who hung out at the park with the kids takinig pictures and signing outographs.

Alumni Jesse Sapp visits NYCBBC

We were happy to have one of our own who grew up playing in the NYCBBC - Mr. Jesse Sapp. Jesse played and graduated from Georgetown University and is now playing professionally oversees.  He hung out with the kids and took pictures with some of the teams on Championship & Trophy day.  He also came and hung in the park on All-Star and family day.
